2) How long can I go for?
A practical internship can last from 2 to 12 months. A student may participate in mobility activities totaling a maximum of 12 months of physical mobility during each study cycle, regardless of the number and type of mobility activities. The duration of internships for recent graduates counts toward the maximum of 12 months per cycle in which they apply for the internship.
3) When should I apply for the internship?
You must apply while you are still a student, although you can complete the internship even after passing your final exams.
4) Končím studium, přihlášku mám podat jako student, nebo jako absolvent?
If you plan to complete your internship after graduation, select “graduate” in the “Program type at the time of departure” field. If you plan to depart, for example, in the summer between your first and second year of a master’s program, select “master’s program.”
5) Do I need to fill out Form A1?
No, unless the employer requires it.
6) I am an international student and need a scholarship confirmation from CTU for my visa. Who should I contact?
Such confirmation is the subscriber agreement.
7) In the past, I went on a study abroad program and verified my language proficiency with a certificate or language exam. Can I use that for my internship as well?
Yes, such a certificate can be accepted if it is valid for no more than 3 years; however, this does not exempt you from the requirement to complete an oral interview with Tassula Healey and subsequently upload the certificate to your application.
8) Where can I find the necessary documents?
You can find templates for all documents in the Mobility app under your tab.
Download them, fill them out, and have them signed by the appropriate people (monthly reports, of course, do not need to be signed).
9) Who is the Responsible Person in the ex-ante contract?
The person responsible for signing your Ex-ante form is an employee of the foreign institution under whose supervision you will be performing your internship.
10) Where should I send the monthly reports?
You can add monthly reports to your Mobility file one at a time. Once you’ve uploaded one report, another field for the next report should appear, and so on. If the new field doesn’t appear, try refreshing the page. If you don’t have access to the Mobility system, please send your reports to the Erasmus+ internship coordinator.
11) How often do I need to write monthly reports?
Every month, starting at the beginning of the second month of your stay, you will upload/send a report on the first month; at the beginning of the third month, a report on the second month, and so on.
12) What do I need to do to receive the remaining 20% of the grant?
You must submit all required documents in the proper format, specifically: upload the final report to your Mobility profile / send it to the Erasmus+ internship coordinator, and bring the original Traineeship Certificate (signed and stamped by the host institution) to the coordinator at the Rector’s Office. You can download the Certificate of Traineeship and final report forms directly from your Mobility account under Files, Templates. If you received the Traineeship Certificate electronically, forward the entire message from the staff member at the foreign institution who sent you the Traineeship Certificate to the coordinator, including any attachments.
