Based on your study results and knowledge of foreign language, we will either be able to offer you one of the universities you have chosen or we will recommend another university to you. If your overall results are not adequate, we will advise you on where you have weaknesses and you can sign up for next round or next year.
4 basic conditions
Length of stay – your study period abroad can last for 1-2 semesters.
Number of credits – 20 ECTS credits is the minimum number that the vice-dean for studies should recognize you for semestral mobility.
CTU student status – while studying at a foreign university you must still be a CTU student.
Approval of your mobility from the faculty – the application for the selection process must be approved by the vice-dean for studies (students of Bachelor and Master Programmes) or the vice-dean for science and research (PhD students).

Once you confirm the university that we will offer you based on your results in the selection process, it is necessary to nominate you for a foreign university. Our choosing you does not mean that you are 100% accepted.
The application process varies at every university, so you will receive an e-mail from programme coordinator Kateřina Bošková about the individual steps you need to take in order to be able to leave.
Afterwards, there will be personal meetings where you can meet colleagues who are selected for the same university and at the same time ask any questions you have about the mobility.
The nomination is sent about half a year before the start of the mobility itself.
After the nomination, you will usually be contacted by the foreign university itself and they will send you a link to the online application and also more detailed information.
Courses enrolled at the host university must be successfully completed, unless you have a good reason for not complying with this condition. Do not forget that one of the condition is to have min. 20 credits for Czech equivalent courses. You can go for 1-2 semesters.
